How to ask her out with a text?

Long story short, I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to ask this girl I like out by text. She works at the same place I do (but we don't really work together, she works at a separate location but for the same company) and since she and I are both in management positions, I feel it would be highly awkward to approach her at work. I'm also kind of bending the rules because I got her number from the work phone list (it's kind of umed we all have each other's numbers at work, but still). I've talked to a few times, and I want to take her out sometime. How would you suggest I ask her to hang out via text given the cirstances? Again, I would love to ask her face to face, but the opportunity just never presents itself here.
