Why is my iphone not working?! the unlock bar wont let me slide?

so i woke up this morning and my iphone was working fine and then couple hours later i tryed to unlock it again ans the whole phone was not working .. well the slidding bar wont slide and the unlock numbers wont come up unless i restart the whole i phone and the numbers to unlock some work and some dont ?what should i do or what can i do ?
